On the morning of September 15, Manipal Police arrested a suspect for illegally selling drugs near Nandini Milk Parlour on District Magistrate's Office Road in Vidyarathna Nagar, Manipal. The accused, identified as Mohammed Arfan (26), a resident of Vijaya Nagar, Belapu village, Kaup taluk, was apprehended while selling drugs on a scooter.
Police seized 6.61 grams of MDMA valued at Rs. 13,000, the scooter used in the crime, and two mobile phones worth Rs. 60,000. A case has been registered at Manipal Police Station in connection with the incident.
