Udupi: Police have arrested another suspect in the murder of AKMS bus owner Saif, alias Saifuddin Atradi. The arrest was made on Saturday at a residence in Salmara, Kodavoor, within the Malpe police station limits.
The arrested individual is Ridha Shabhana, 27, a resident of Badagabettu Mission Compound. She was apprehended for allegedly conspiring to commit the murder and participating in the crime. She has been produced in court.
Previously, three others were arrested in connection with the case: Mohammad Faisal Khan, 27, a resident of Udupi Mission Compound and a close friend of Saif; Mohammad Sharif, 37, of Udupi Karamballi Janata Colony; and Abdul Shukur, alias Addu, 43, a resident of the seventh block of Krishnapura, Suratkal. Both Sharif and Addu were employed as drivers for AKMS buses.
