Udupi, October 04, 2025: Surekha, Associate Teacher at S.P. High School, Olakadu, Udupi Taluk; Ratna, Associate Teacher at S.P. High School, Olakadu, Udupi Taluk; and Prabha B., Associate Teacher at S.P.P. College, Udyavara (High School Division), Udupi, were appointed as enumerators for the social and educational survey of citizens conducted by the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission. However, they have not received their appointment orders. Despite multiple attempts to contact them over the phone, they have refused to accept copies of their appointment orders.
A show-cause notice was issued to the respondents, but they have not complied with it. Consequently, the enumerators have been suspended as of October 04, 2025. Authorities have stated that any further negligence in survey work will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
