Udupi, September 12, 2025 – Al-Ibaadah Indian School CBSE, Perumpalli, Udupi, hosted a grand ceremony to honor approximately 50 students who successfully completed the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by reading directly from the text. The event, marked by joy and pride, saw these students being awarded certificates and medals of honor for their remarkable achievement.
The school offers a comprehensive full-time Hifz course for boys, guided by expert teachers, enabling young learners to achieve memorization goals efficiently. Additionally, a tailored short-term Hifz program for girls focuses on selected virtuous and longer Surahs, allowing them to master memorization with quality in a short time. Many girls have already earned formal certificates for memorizing selected Surahs under this curriculum.
A highlight of the event was the launch of Al-Ibaadah School’s unique Hifz curriculum, unveiled by esteemed Islamic scholar Dr. Parvez Naqvi Madani. This innovative curriculum aims to blend high standards of Qur’anic memorization with academic excellence, fostering well-rounded development.
The school’s Islamic Studies Department emphasized its structured approach, introducing Tajweed rules from LKG and UKG levels. In primary grades, students apply these rules practically, cultivating the ability to recite the Qur’an melodiously and accurately. Over the years, numerous young students have successfully memorized the entire Qur’an with proper Tajweed, reflecting the institution’s commitment to excellence.
The school administration reiterated its dedication to nurturing students’ holistic growth and advancing Qur’anic education. “We are proud of our students’ achievements and remain committed to promoting Qur’an education alongside academic excellence,” said a school spokesperson.
