Bengaluru: Popular dairy brand Nandini has announced a price reduction for several of its products, effective 22 September 2025, following the cut in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, B. Shivaswamy, Managing Director of KMF, said that revised prices will apply to products such as ghee, butter and paneer, while milk and curd remain unaffected.

The price of 1 litre of ghee will come down from Rs 650 to Rs 610. Similarly, other milk-based products will also see reductions in retail price.

Mandatory sale at revised rates

All outlets selling Nandini products must display the updated price list prominently.

Even if the older Maximum Retail Price (MRP) is printed on packets, retailers have been instructed to sell the items at the new reduced price.

Retailers who have already purchased stock at older rates will be able to claim the difference while filing their GST returns, the KMF MD explained.
