In connection with the murder of private bus owner Saifiuddin, which occurred on September 27, 2025, under the jurisdiction of Malpe Police Station, the following individuals have been arrested:
Mohammad Faisal Khan (27), son of Rafiq Khan, residing near Mission Compound, 76 Badagabettu Village, Udupi.
Mohammad Sharif (37), son of D. Musa Saheb, residing at House No. 1/109, Janata Colony, Karamballi, Kunjibettu Post Office, Shivalli Village, Udupi.
Abdul Shukur (43), son of D. S. Mohammad, residing at London Park, 7th Block, Krishnapur Post Office, Katipalla Village, Mangalore Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District.
The accused have been produced before the court.
The arrests were made by a special team led by Udupi Deputy Superintendent of Police, D.T. Prabhu, along with Police Circle Inspector Ramachandra Nayak of Malpe Circle, Police Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar D. of Malpe Police Station, and supporting staff.
