Padubidri: A biker was fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle on National Highway 66 in front of the Canara Bank ATM near Uchilla early this morning, resulting in the rider's immediate death.
The identity of the deceased biker has not yet been established. The accident occurred when an unknown vehicle collided with a Puttur-registered motorcycle traveling from Udupi to Mangalore, causing the rider to fall and sustain fatal injuries.
Social activists Jamaluddin Uchilla, Hamid, Rayees, Razak, Anwar Koteshwar, and Sadiq from Mulur Ambulance assisted in transporting the body to Padubidri. The Padubidri police are at the scene and have launched an investigation.
