New Delhi, September 10, 2025 – Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has issued a scathing condemnation of the Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Doha, Qatar, on September 9, 2025, describing it as a "cowardly and criminal act" and an act of "state terrorism." The organization expressed outrage at what it calls a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, international law, and fundamental principles of human decency.

In a strongly worded statement, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, denounced the attack, which targeted leaders engaged in ceasefire negotiations, as a deliberate attempt to sabotage peace efforts. "This exposes Israel’s treacherous pattern: engaging in talks with one hand while unleashing assassinations and violence with the other," Hussaini stated, accusing Israel of making a mockery of diplomacy.

The statement highlighted Israel’s broader pattern of aggression, noting that the strike in Doha is part of a series of actions across Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and the West Bank, which Jamaat-e-Islami Hind labels a "genocidal campaign" spanning nearly two years. The organization accused Israel of acting as a "rogue state" and a "grave menace to world peace," dragging neutral mediators like Qatar into its "theatre of violence."

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind further criticized the United States for its unwavering support of Israel, asserting that this backing enables Israel’s impunity. "Israel’s actions are only possible due to the full complicity of the United States, which shares equal responsibility for these crimes," the statement read.

Expressing solidarity with the people and leadership of Qatar, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind called on the international community to take decisive action. The organization urged global leaders to punish Israel’s violations, halt what it described as genocide, and end the cycle of aggression and treachery.
