The Girls Islamic Organization (GIO) Karnataka launched its “Ehsaas - Restoring Humanity” campaign at a press conference on September 26, 2025, at BIFT Hall, Queens Road, Bengaluru. The campaign, running from October 2 to October 12, aims to foster kindness, compassion, and unity across communities in Karnataka.

Navida Assadi, state president of GIO Karnataka, introduced the campaign, emphasizing its goal to promote interfaith dialogue, address humanitarian issues, and encourage social healing. Quoting Quran 49:13, she highlighted the campaign’s philosophy of embracing mutual humanity and combating intolerance, diversity challenges, and violence. Another verse (Quran 5:32) was cited to underscore the value of saving lives as equivalent to saving all humanity.
The campaign includes activities like interfaith dialogues, peace circles, mental health workshops, art, poetry, and poster competitions, social media awareness initiatives, and door-to-door visits. GIO Karnataka invited people of all religions to join, aiming to set an example for future generations.

The campaign logo was unveiled at the event, attended by key figures including campaign coordinator Afra Fateen, GIO Karnataka Vice President Anees Fatima, JIH Karnataka Secretary Tashkeel Khanam, and Anupama Monthly Deputy Editor Kulsoom Abubakkar.
