Khidmah Foundation Riyadh successfully organized a grand Mega Cricket Carnival for a Noble Cause on the 20th and 21st of November 2025 at the MCA Cricket Grounds, Exit 18, Riyadh. The two-day event featured 12 top-class teams competing in an exciting league-cum-knockout format.
The tournament was spearheaded by the Khidmah Foundation Sports Committee under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Shahid Kolkar and Mr. Ashraf Sheikh Koteshwar, supported by dedicated team members Thouheed Nagoor, GM Faisal, and Meera Murad, who worked tirelessly to ensure the seamless and successful execution of the event.
The 12 participating teams were: Kingdom Fighters, United Kundapura, KA 19 Warriors, Team ITL, 7 Star, Paramount, Eagle Strikers, OG Warriors, Ashes CC, Dalwai 11, Kokan Fighters, and Rebels Riyadh. A special highlight of the tournament was the participation of a Saudi national team player along with cricketers from various countries, truly reflecting the diverse and inclusive spirit of the event.
In a thrilling final, 7 Star emerged victorious after posting a competitive total of 62/3 in 6 overs. They successfully defended the target, thanks to an outstanding bowling spell by Sandeep Wayanad, who conceded just 8 runs and claimed 2 wickets in his 2 overs. Mohsin Deshmukh led the batting charge with a brilliant 42 runs off 22 balls. Chasing 63, Paramount managed 54/8 in 6 overs, with Mithun Kulal being their top scorer with 13 runs.
The grand finale concluded with an inspiring Khidmah Foundation introduction and thanksgiving speeches delivered by Chairman Mr. Fazlu Rehman Kolkar, Vice Presidents Mr. Mohammed Jawaad and Mr. Mohammed Haris, and General Secretary Mr. Ashraf Sheikh. The ceremony was gracefully anchored by Mr. Shahid Kolkar. Attractive prizes and trophies were awarded to the champions, runners-up, and standout performers.
