Udupi, Oct. 10: SDPI leader Riyaz Kadambu, who violated his bail conditions in a hate speech case registered at the Udupi City Police Station, was produced before the court by the Udupi police. The court initially remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days. A bail application was subsequently filed on his behalf, and the High court has granted him bail.
Earlier, a case was registered against Riyaz Kadambu at the Udupi City Police Station for alleged hate speech. He had previously obtained bail from the High Court in this matter but violated the conditions of that bail.
Consequently, Riyaz was produced by the Udupi police before the Udupi court, which ordered 14 days of judicial custody before granting the new bail.
