Malpe, September 21, 2025 – In an era where junk food is taking a toll on physical and mental well-being, the Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Malpe, in collaboration with JAC, organized the “Mehfil-e-Zaiqa” Food Festival to inspire the younger generation to adopt nutritious and healthy eating habits. The event took place on Sunday, September 21, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the premises of Jamia Masjid, Malpe.
Over 500 men and women benefited from this food festival. Through this initiative, SIO Malpe inspired children not only to excel academically but also to develop other essential skills, serving as a guiding light—a matter of great pride.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. F. M. Ismail, a prominent figure in Malpe, who cut the ribbon. The event began with a recitation of the Qur’an by student Irshadullah Khan. This was followed by introductory speeches from Maulana Imranullah Khan Mansoori, a teacher at Jamia Masjid Malpe, and Sheikh Ayaan Malpe, President of the SIO Malpe Unit.
Also present at the event were the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Malpe Unit; the Food Fest convener, Zuhid Mujahid; members of the Jamia Masjid management committee; and others.
