Karwar: Russian national Ivan Deneva (40), who was staying at the Amrut Ora Hotel in the city, sustained serious injuries after accidentally falling from the hotel's Roof on Monday night.
Ivan had come to Karwar to work at the Kadamba Naval Base and was staying at the Amrut Ora Hotel. It is said that he slipped and fell while standing on the balcony last night. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Goa for advanced treatment after receiving initial aid. DSP Deepan and officers from the Karwar Town Police Station visited the spot and conducted an investigation.
