Udupi, September 18: Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, V. Somanna, is scheduled to visit Udupi district on September 21 as part of his official tour. The minister will arrive in Udupi at 11:15 AM to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Indrali Railway Flyover on the Udupi-Manipal National Highway 169A, a significant infrastructure project aimed at easing traffic congestion in the region.
At 12:30 PM, Somanna will visit the revered Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt to offer prayers and have darshan, engaging with the spiritual heritage of the city. Later in the day, at 3:30 PM, he will proceed to Kundapur Railway Station to conduct an inspection, assessing the facilities and ongoing developments. Following this, the minister will travel to Mangaluru to continue his itinerary.
