Tunisia: A drone attack has been carried out targeting a Freedom Flotilla ship sailing from Turkey to Gaza. The attack took place in Tunisia. The people on board are safe. Global Samud has announced that the flotilla will continue its operations. Global Samud has released more footage of the drone attack.

“The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) has confirmed that a drone hit the main boat, known as the Family Boat, on which members of the GSF Steering Committee were traveling.

"The boat was flying the Portuguese flag and all passengers and crew are safe. An investigation is currently underway and more information will be released as soon as it becomes available," the agency said in an official statement.

“We will not be deterred by aggressive actions aimed at intimidating and derailing our operations. We will continue our peaceful operations to break the blockade on Gaza and express solidarity with its people,” the statement said. However, Tunisian authorities denied the drone attack.

The aid-laden boat, which is carrying 350 volunteers, including prominent environmental activist Greta Thunberg, is part of a flotilla of about 20 ships that set off from Barcelona for Gaza on Monday. The group hopes to deliver aid to Gaza if Israel does not block it, as it has done in the past.
