Skeletal remains were reportedly discovered shortly after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) began its search operation this morning in the Banglegudda forest area near the Netravati River bathing ghat.

The bones were found near the 11th location previously identified by Chinnaiah, a key witness in the case. Earlier reports had suggested the presence of multiple human remains in the same Banglegudda area.

With permission from the Belthangady Zone Forest Department, the SIT initiated its investigation in Banglegudda today. Officials have collected the skeletal fragments discovered during the search and are expected to send them to a forensic science laboratory for further analysis.
