Belthangady: Mahesh Shetty Timarodi of Ujire, the founding president of the Rashtriya Hindu Jagran Vedike, has been ordered to be exiled from the district for one year on September 18 in connection with several cases.
Around 32 cases have been registered against Timarodi in various police stations.
Puttur Assistant Commissioner (AC) Stella Varghese reviewed the report submitted by Belthangady police regarding the case and based on the report, on September 18, an order was issued to transfer Mahesh Shetty Timarodi to Manvi taluk in Raichur district for a period of one year.
Legal action will be taken to deport the person after the Bantwal Sub-Division DySP receives the deportation order.
