Hoode : Seerath Welcome Committee Successfully Organized "Cleanliness Drive" as part of Know Prophet Mohammed campaign from Hoode Beach to Kemmanu Church on 7th September,2025. Taking inspiration and motivation from Treasure trove of teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), “Cleanliness is half of Iman,” the initiative brought together more than 150 dedicated volunteers to promote ethos of sanitation ,cleanliness and civic sense to boost healthier environment in Thonse and its surroundings.
The event was kickstarted by Dr. Rafiq, who hailed the initiative and remarked that this step reflected Prophetic wisdom in action. Mohd Idris Hoode reiterated thatthe Prophet’s saying, highlighting that cleanliness is integral to faith, identify and community well-being. The inaugural session concluded with a heartfelt dua by Janab Adam Moulana, invoking blessings from almighty tothe initiative. The program was expertly hosted by Sadik Ustad, a former Panchayat member, who ensured a seamless flow of the event.
In the concluding session, Jb. Hyder, Panchayat Member, spoke passionately about the collective responsibility to keep Thonse beautiful and pristine. Abdul Ajees, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Udupi District, delivered the presidential address, urging the community to maintain the aesthetic sensibilities and cleanliness of the beach, surrounding areas and maintain harmony with nature as our responsibility as stewards of Earth.
The Clean Drive saw enthusiastic participation from 150 volunteers who worked tirelessly to clear plastic waste and promote environmental awarenessby their actions.The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Kudur Mushtaq, Musthaq Belve, Gudme Nazeer, Razzak Nakwa, Abdul Kalam, Hassan Kb, Amir Gujjerbettu, Haneef, and Althaf Nakwa, whose presence added immense value to the initiative.
